FOTOVENT / FotoVent Cloud: from events to everyday screens

From events
to everyday screens.

The event ends. The need to keep a screen current does not.

The useful question is: what changes tomorrow?

At an event, new photographs arrive throughout the day. In a café, breakfast gives way to lunch. In a shop, an offer changes with stock or the season. The content differs, but the practical task is familiar: get the next update onto the right screen without making the process a job in itself.

Cloud changes where the player lives

Desktop keeps files on the computer connected to the display. Connect lets you reach that computer remotely. Cloud adds a different workflow: upload optimised media to an online archive and pair a compatible browser as the player. That distinction matters more than a long feature list.

A programme, not a pile of files

Organise content into named events such as “Lunch” or “Reception”. On Pro and Business, schedule them by weekday and time zone. Group screens that should share a programme; keep other screens independent. Brightness schedules can darken the picture overnight, although they do not switch off the hardware.

Start with a real test

Choose one screen and a few representative images. Try the actual browser, network and video formats. Cloud Free gives you 10 photos and an hour per day to start that check without a card. A browser’s full-screen controls, video capabilities and storage behaviour still depend on its device.
